Common use of Criticism Clause in Contracts

Criticism. Criticism of a bargaining unit member shall be kept confidential. Supervisors, administrators, or Board members shall use confidentiality and discretion and shall avoid criticism of bargaining unit members, especially in the presence of students, parents, or other bargaining unit members or in public gatherings. Bargaining unit members will use the same confidentiality and discretion in their criticisms of supervisors or administrators. Communications of criticism between administrators and bargaining unit employees shall not be made in a public setting.
