ADMINISTRATORS' RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. A. Fair Practices: The Board agrees to continue its policy of not discriminating against any administrator on the basis of race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, marital status, sex, disability, or labor organization membership. B. Handling of Complaints against Administrators: When complaints or charges are made against an administrator, the administrator shall be promptly notified and if the complaint is in writing, the administrator shall be given a copy of the complaint. The Administrator shall be given reasonable time to respond verbally or in writing. At any time that a complaint may lead to discipline the union member may invoke their ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ rights immediately.
ADMINISTRATORS' RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. 5.1 Open Personnel File Each Administrator shall have the right to review the contents of his/her own personnel file as maintained by the Superintendent or designee. If desired by the administrator, a representative of the Association may be present. Administrators will be given copies of all materials placed in their files within five (5) working days with the exception of college placement bureau credentials or materials originating from the administrator. Administrators shall also have the right to place explanatory notes or letters in their personnel file pertinent to any written or printed materials and these notes or letters shall be attached to each file copy.
ADMINISTRATORS' RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. A. Administrators shall be directly responsible to their respective appropriate immediate supervisor and, through them, to the Superintendent of Schools. B. It is the responsibility of each administrator to carry out administrative directions regarding Board policies and administrative regulations, subject to the understanding that the grievance procedure shall be available under the terms specified in Article VI in the event that it is felt any such directive or policy is in conflict with the express terms of this agreement.

Whenever any Administrator is required to appear before the Board or any committee thereof concerning any matter of discipline which could adversely affect the continuation of that Administrator in his/her office, position or employment, then he/she shall be given prior written notice of the reasons for such meeting and shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise him/her and represent him/her during such a meeting. C. Any criticism by the superior or a member of the Board of an Administrator shall be made in confidence and not in the presence of teachers, parents, students or the public.
