Damaged Uniform Parts or Equipment. Members shall be allowed to turn in clothing and uniform parts or equipment which are damaged in the line of duty and these items will be replaced or repaired by the Township at no cost to members, except where the damage was caused-by the member's negligence, in which case, the member shall be responsible for the repair and/or replacement of the item(s). This Section shall not apply to cruisers.

This Section shall apply to the officer's special personal equipment, the use of which is authorized in writing by the Deputy Chief or the Chief of Police.
