Common use of Date of Leave Clause in Contracts

Date of Leave. The School District may, by mutual Agreement between the teacher and the Director or his/her designee, adjust the proposed beginning or ending date of a child care leave so that the dates of the leave are coincident with some natural break in the school year (i.e., winter vacation, spring vacation, semester break or quarter break, end of a grading period, end of the school year, etc.). The availability of a substitute teacher may also be considered by the School District in the granting of a child care leave or its duration.
