Definite Leaves Without Pay. a) Providing satisfactory arrangements can be made to accommodate the work, an employee may be granted a definite leave of absence without pay for up to one year. b) An employee after having received a definite leave may request additional leave(s) consecutive with each other. The first leave and the additional consecutive leaves shall not total a period greater than two (2) years. c) Notwithstanding the above, where the leave is for the purpose of working in a Term assignment with the Employer, the request can be for the length of the Term assignment.
