Definition of Layoffs. Layoffs, under the provisions of this Collective Agreement, shall include the reduction of daily or biweekly hours of any full-time or part-time Employee. However, to be a layoff of a part-time employee, the reduction must be equal to or greater than fifty percent (50%) of their biweekly hours. No full-time employee within the bargaining unit shall be laid off by reason of his/her duties being assigned to one or more part-time employees.
