Employer and Union Shall Acquaint Potential Employees. 6.01 The Employer agrees to acquaint potential Employees with the fact that a Union agreement is in effect.
6.02 Within thirty (30) days of employment the Xxxxxxx or representative shall introduce him/herself to the new Employee as the Employee’s Union Xxxxxxx or representative. The Xxxxxxx or representative shall provide such Employee with a copy of the Collective Agreement and the Constitution and By-Laws of the Union, and will be given an opportunity to interview each new Employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes, for the purpose of acquainting the new Employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and Employee’s responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union.
6.03 If Employees are on shift at the time of union meetings, they may be expected to forego the union meeting and continue with their job functions or attend union meetings and be docked pay or use compensatory time with the prior approval of the Employer and as long as necessary coverage is maintained.
Employer and Union Shall Acquaint Potential Employees. 6.01 The Employer agrees to acquaint potential employees with the fact that a Union Agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the Articles dealing with Union membership and Dues Check-Off.
6.02 It is mutually agreed that a Union representative shall be given the opportunity for meeting each new employee, during their orientation, at the main office, for a period of fifteen (15) minutes for the purpose of informing such employee of the existence of the Union and presenting such employee with a copy of the Collective Agreement.
Employer and Union Shall Acquaint Potential Employees. 6.01 The Employer agrees to inform employees with the fact that a Collective Agreement is in effect and to give a copy of the Collective Agreement and Benefits Handbook to the employee along with the names of the President, Chief Xxxxxxx and stewards. The Employer, on a monthly basis shall forward to the Union a list of new employees.

6.01 The Employer agrees to acquaint potential employees with the fact that a union agreement is in effect and will provide each new employee with a copy of the current Collective Agreement.
Employer and Union Shall Acquaint Potential Employees. 7.01 The Employer agrees to acquaint newly hired employees with the fact that a Union agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with dues check-off.
7.02 During his or her orientation with the Employer the new employee shall be introduced to the Xxxxxxx. The new employee shall be entitled to one (1) hour orientation meeting with the Xxxxxxx or designate, within her scheduled working hours. When possible such meeting shall be arranged by the employee’s Supervisor during the first ten (10) working days of employment.

7.01 The employer agrees to acquaint potential employees with the fact that a Union Agreement is in effect and with the conditions of employment set out in the Articles dealing with Union security and dues check-off. Interviewing Opportunity
7.02 On commencing employment, the employee’s immediate Supervisor shall introduce the new employee to their Union Xxxxxxx or representative.

6.01 The Employer agrees to acquaint potential employees with the fact that a Union agreement is in effect, and with the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with Union membership and dues check-off.
6.02 It is mutually agreed that a Union representative shall be given the opportunity of interviewing each new employee once for the purpose of informing such employee of the existence of the union and presenting such employee with a copy of the Union Agreement.
6.03 The Employer shall notify the Unit Chairperson in writing monthly of all new employees hired throughout the preceding month.

Employer and Union Shall Acquaint Potential Employees. 8.01 Each new employee will receive upon accepting an offer of employment with the Xxxxxxxx House, the following documents and information:
(1) The positions current job description.
(2) A current copy of this Agreement. Copies of the following documents will be made available at Xxxxxxxx House:
(1) A current copy of the Xxxxxxxx House Policy and Procedures Manual.
(2) A listing of Board Members.
(3) An organizational chart which identifies personnel and their position within the organization.
(4) A copy of the text “Overcoming the Backlash; Telling the Truth about Power, Privilege and Oppression” by Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx.
(5) A current copy of this Agreement.
Employer and Union Shall Acquaint Potential Employees. 7.01 The Employer agrees that a Union representative shall be allowed a reasonable period not to exceed fifteen minutes during regular working hours to interview newly hired employees during their general orientation. During such interview, membership forms may be provided to the employee. These interviews shall be scheduled in advance by the Employer and may be arranged collectively or individually.
