Definition of Seniority. Full-time employees will accumulate seniority on the basis of their continuous service in the bargaining unit from the last date of hire, except as otherwise provided herein. Part-time employees, including casual employees, will accumulate seniority on the basis of one (1) year's seniority for each 1725 hours worked in the bargaining unit as of the last date of hire, except as otherwise provided herein.
