Definition of Seniority. (a) Seniority means the length of continuous employment with the College, as defined in clause 25.1, of a regular full-time or regular part-time Employee appointed to a continuing full-time or recurring full- or part-time position within the Professional Support and/or Faculty bargaining unit. For greater certainty, an Employee who has continuous employment with the College which includes service that would have counted as continuous employment in the Professional Support bargaining unit had the Employee remained in the former position or positions continuously up to August 1, 1998 shall have that continuous employment included in the Employee’s seniority.
