Delayed Start Days. Employees shall be entitled to work a full day when students arrive late on delayed start professional development days. Employees shall be paid for any time worked, up to their regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Snow Days If an employee, after good faith efforts, is unable to report to work for their scheduled duty period because of weather conditions, and if a disaster due to weather is declared by the Governor or the Grand Traverse County Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, the employee at the employee's option may take a days leave without pay or work on a pass day to make up the lost day, or may utilize an accumulated sick leave day or vacation day.   • Business Days If any time period for giving notice or taking action hereunder expires on a day which is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday in the state in which the Company’s chief executive office is located, the time period shall be automatically extended to the business day immediately following such Saturday, Sunday or holiday.

  • Preparation Period During the preparation period, a teacher will have no other assignment except in an emergency situation. It is recognized that the preparation period is a scheduled part of the teacher's work day and the teacher is expected to be in his/her respective Building.   • Work Days The work day shall consist of an assigned shift within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours commencing at 12:01 a.m. Whenever practicable and consistent with program needs, employees shall work on five (5) consecutive working days separated by two (2) consecutive days off. Significant or major changes in methods of scheduling shall be first discussed with the Union before changes are made.

  • Commencement This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent 1.

  • Pay Days The Employer shall pay salaries and wages every second Friday in accordance with Schedule "A" attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement. On each pay day each employee shall be provided with an itemized statement of wages, deductions and accruals. Payment shall be made by way of deposit to the employee's bank. Rates of pay will be set according to the Joint Job Evaluation Maintenance Procedures as set out in Letter of Understanding #1 and attached to this Agreement.

  • Sick Days Employees will be provided with 6 sick days per calendar year. Sick days are paid at 75% of the employee’s step rate.
