Delegate Experience. The Host Committee has agreed to provide a comprehensive package of amenities and experiences for all delegates to the Convention, including, without limitation, the welcoming ceremony, welcoming activities, delegate receptions, special events, decorations, and volunteer support (the “Delegate Experience Package”). The City agrees to cooperate with the Host Committee in implementing the Delegate Experience Package.

  • Delegates The employer recognises the Union delegates who are elected by the employees as the on- site representatives of the Union.

Emergency (for appointment purposes) An emergency is an unforeseen circumstance for which there is not enough time to follow regular appointment procedure and the program requires that the course be offered. Fiscal Year A period of twelve (12) calendar months which commences on the first day of May and ends on the last day of April in the next calendar year, inclusive. For the Record An electronic bulletin board where announcements are made regarding, among other matters, important personnel matters of the University.

  • Determinations and Actions by the Board of Directors All actions, calculations and determinations (including all omissions with respect to the foregoing) which are done or made by the Board of Directors in good faith pursuant to this Agreement, shall not subject the Board of Directors to any liability to the holders of the Rights.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.

  • Determination of Seniority Seniority records shall be maintained by the University and shall be based on the employee's seniority date. The University shall maintain current records on seniority for use in the application of these provisions and they shall be available whenever a Union representative shall raise a question of seniority. Such lists and records shall also show the job title and latest employment date with the University for each person, and a copy of the list shall be furnished to the Union every six (6) months, upon request.

  • Computation of Seniority For the purpose of calculating the length of service of a regular full- time employee, one year will be credited for each year of service beginning on the employee’s initial date of hire as a regular full-time employee. For the purpose of calculating length of service of a regular part- time employee, one year of service will be credited for every 2080 hours of paid work and paid leave. In the event a regular part-time employee is appointed to a position as a regular full-time employee, the seniority accrued as a part-time employee will be added to the seniority as a full-time employee.

  • Responsibilities of Committee The Committee shall not have jurisdiction over wages or any other matter of collective bargaining, including the administration of this Agreement. The Committee shall not supersede the activities of any other committee of the Union or of the Employer and shall not have the power to bind either the Union or its members or the Employer to any decisions or conclusions reached in their discussions. The Committee shall have the power to make recommendations to the Union and the Employer on the following general matters:

  • Mandate of the Committee The mandate of the Education Worker Diverse and Inclusive Workforce Committee is to jointly explore and identify best practices that support diversity, equity, inclusion and to xxxxxx diverse and inclusive workforces reflective of Ontario’s diverse communities.

  • EMPLOYEE RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. In addition to others identified herein, employees affected by these procedures shall have the following rights:

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE 8.1.0 A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.
