Common use of DELEGATES’ LEAVE Clause in Contracts

DELEGATES’ LEAVE. Section 1 Upon fourteen (14) days written notice, the Superintendent may approve a leave of absence with or without pay for such time as the Superintendent deems reasonable for officers of the Association, not to exceed two (2) in number, as may be designated by the Association to attend Massachusetts Teachers' Association or National Education Association conferences, meetings, or conventions, including directors and other meetings of the MTA. The expense of such trips will be borne by the Association, the individual, the MTA or the NEA.
