Demerit Period. For the latter of a period of 6 months, or until the Employee successfully completes supplemental training deter- mined by the Labor Management Committee and provided at the Training Center on the Employee’s own time. During the Demerit Period, the Employee will be referred out at the next lower classification. For example, an R-1 would be re-referred out as an R-2, etc. The referral out at the next lower classification (for example, R-2) only affects the Employee’s rate of pay, not his scope of responsibilities, which, in this example, would remain as that of an R-1. The Employee will be referred out under this classification regardless of Employer.The Employee will be paid scale (wages & benefits) for his new classification during this Demerit Period. Under no circumstances will the Employee be paid overscale during the Demerit Period. At the conclusion of the Demerit Period, the Employee may be re-referred out at the appropriate classification.

  • Benefit Period Following the Qualifying Period you will receive a monthly income until the earlier of:

  • AGREEMENT PERIOD The terms of this Agreement and the performance of the parties hereto shall commence, or be deemed to have commenced, the 1st day of January 2020 and will continue through the 31st day of December 2020, both dates inclusive, unless sooner terminated or extended as provided for herein.

  • Meal Period A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Vacation Period ‌ The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.

  • Agreement Term This Agreement commences on the Effective Date and continues until terminated in compliance with this Clause.

  • Christmas Period Article 16 relating to scheduling during this period will apply, except as modified to confirm that the weekend shift employee will continue to work weekends during this period.

  • CONTRACT PERIOD “Contract Period” shall mean the period commencing the day immediately preceding a Change in Control and ending on the earlier of (i) the second anniversary of the Change in Control or (ii) the death of the Executive. For the purpose of this Agreement, a Change in Control shall be deemed to have occurred at the date specified in the definition of Change-in-Control.

  • Transitional Period At the end of the transitional period as defined in Article 10(2) of the Directive, the contracting parties shall cease to apply the withholding/retention tax and revenue sharing provided for in this Agreement and shall apply in respect of the other contracting party the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive. If during the transitional period either of the contracting parties elects to apply the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive it shall no longer apply the withholding/retention tax and the revenue sharing provided for in Article 9 of this Agreement.

  • Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.

  • SUBSEQUENT PERIODIC RECRUITMENT During the term of the Contract, the State reserves the right to conduct subsequent future Periodic Recruitments. The purpose of future periodic recruitments will be to:  Add new Lots for additional and/or emerging technologies  Add new Contractors to existing and new Lots OGS will formally announce when a Periodic Recruitment Solicitation is issued. Periodic Recruitments will be issued at the discretion of the OGS. A Contractor shall be required to submit such Submission documentation as required by OGS, which may include additional applicable statutory requirements currently in effect at the time of the Periodic Recruitment.
