Departmental Actions. To the extent necessary, the person who has the requisite authority may attempt to resolve the conflict through administrative measures, including reorganization of workplace structure, reassignment of duties, or appropriate disciplinary action. Related to Departmental Actions

  • Governmental Action Governmental Action means the destruction, confiscation or seizure of property described in Coverage A, B or C by order of any governmental or public authority. This exclusion does not apply to such acts ordered by any governmental or public authority that are taken at the time of a fire to prevent its spread, if the loss caused by fire would be covered under this policy.

  • Personnel Actions Wages, working conditions, and employee benefits shall be established and administered, and personnel actions of every type, including hiring, upgrading, promotion, transfer, demotion, layoff, and termination, shall be taken without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability. The following procedures shall be followed:

  • Political Action No Employee shall be disciplined for participation in any political action(s) called for by the Canadian Labour Congress, its affiliates, or subordinate bodies.

  • STRIKES AND SANCTIONS The Association and the Board subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved without interruption of the school program. The Association, therefore, agrees that it will not sponsor or support any strike, sanction, or work stoppage, nor will the Association sponsor or support any other concerted refusal to perform work by the employees covered by this Agreement during the life of this Agreement, nor shall the Board engage in any form of lockout against employees during the life of this Agreement.

  • Remedial Actions Each Party will notify the other Parties immediately, and promptly confirm such notice in writing, if it obtains information indicating that any Licensed Product may be subject to any recall, corrective action or other regulatory action with respect to such product taken by virtue of Applicable Law (a “Remedial Action”). The Parties will assist each other in gathering and evaluating such information as is necessary to determine the necessity of conducting a Remedial Action. Each Party shall, and shall ensure that its Affiliates and sublicensees will, maintain adequate records to permit the Parties to trace the manufacture, distribution and use (to the extent possible) of the Licensed Products. As between the Parties, ZAI shall have sole discretion with respect to any matters relating to any Remedial Action for the Licensed Product in the ZAI Territory and TESARO shall have sole discretion with respect to any matters relating to any Remedial Action for the Licensed Product in the TESARO Territory. In the event that a Party determines that any Remedial Action with respect to the Licensed Product in its Territory should be commenced, or if Remedial Action is required by any Regulatory Authority having jurisdiction over the matter in its Territory, such Party will control and coordinate all efforts necessary to conduct such Remedial Action and shall be responsible for all cost and expense of such Remedial Action in its territory.

  • Environmental Measures (i) The Contractor agrees to conduct its activities in connection with the Agreement in such a manner so as to comply with the environmental requirements which includes, inter alia, all the conditions required to be satisfied under the environmental clearances and applicable law, and assumes full responsibility for measures which are required to be taken to ensure such compliance.

  • Penalties and Sanctions 7.1 The Scheduling Coordinator shall be subject to all penalties made applicable to Scheduling Coordinators set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Other Legal Actions The actions stipulated in this Integrity Pact are without prejudice to any other legal action that may follow in accordance with the provisions of the extant law in force relating to any civil or criminal proceedings.
