Designated Holiday. A. For employees normally working a Monday through Friday schedule: If a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be designated as the holiday. If a holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be the holiday.
Designated Holiday. Since employees normally work a Monday-through-Friday schedule: If a legal holiday falls on Saturday, the proceeding Friday shall be designated as the holiday. If a legal holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be the holiday. If an employee is not working a Monday-through-Friday schedule and a holiday falls on a regularly-scheduled day off, either the last preceding or the next following workday will be the holiday. Supervisors shall designate which day will be the holiday on an individual basis. If a holiday is on a scheduled workday and the employee becomes ill or injured, no holiday credit shall be granted, nor sick leave deducted.

Designated Holiday. Designated holiday means New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Saskatchewan Day, Labour Day, Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, one (1) floating holiday per year to be taken on the same day that is negotiated between the Public Service Government and General Employees Union and the Government of Saskatchewan and any other day proclaimed as a holiday by the Federal, Provincial or Municipal government.
Designated Holiday. Employee Directed Each year, one (1) designated holiday will be assigned to a date chosen by the employee with the approval of the manager. This designated holiday will not be accumulative from year to year or paid out if not utilized in the calendar year. The employee directed holiday must be taken as a full day in accordance with your normal hours of work.
