Determination of Vacant Positions. The District shall determine, as accurately as possible, the total number of employees known to be leaving the District for reason of retirement, family transfer, normal resignations, discharge or nonrenewal, etc. Taking into account these positions available, the District shall consider the qualifications of the staff who have indicated they wish to return. These vacancies and qualifications will be taken into consideration in determining the number of available positions for the following school year.
