Disability Equality Scheme. The Authority is subject to the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 as amended by the Disability Discrimination Act 2005. The Authority has published a Disability Equality Scheme, which is set out on the Authority's website. The Contractor shall, and shall procure that its sub-contractors, agents and personnel, comply with both the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 as amended by the Disability Discrimination Act 2005 and the Authority's Disability Equality Scheme. Upon the Contractor breaching either the applicable law or the Authority's Disability Equality Scheme the Authority shall be entitled to terminate the Contract with immediate effect by notice in writing to the Contractor and without prejudice to any other rights or remedies of either party in respect of the breach concerned or any other breach of the Contract.

  • Disability Separation A. An employee with permanent status may be separated from service when the Employer determines that the employee is unable to perform the essential functions of the employee’s position due to a mental, sensory, or physical disability, which cannot be reasonably accommodated. Determinations of disability may be made by the Employer based on an employee’s written request for disability separation or after obtaining a written statement from a licensed physician or licensed mental health professional. The Employer can require an employee to obtain a medical examination, at Employer expense, from a licensed physician or licensed mental health professional of the Employer’s choice. Evidence may be requested from the licensed physician or licensed mental health professional regarding the employee’s limitations.

  • Deferred Salary Scheme Employees may apply to have their salary payments deferred in accordance with the provisions of this clause.

Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of the Minimum Compensation Ordinance (MCO), as set forth in San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12P (Chapter 12P), including the remedies provided, and implementing guidelines and rules. The provisions of Sections 12P.5 and 12P.5.1 of Chapter 12P are incorporated herein by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth.   • DISABILITY INSURANCE PLAN Management shall expend for active employees of this unit who are members of LACERS the sum necessary to cover the cost of a basic disability insurance plan. Management shall also maintain a Supplemental Disability Insurance Plan, enrollment in which is at the discretion of each employee. The full cost of the Supplemental Disability Insurance Plan premiums shall be paid by the individual employees who enroll in the plan. The City's Joint Labor-Management Benefits Committee shall determine the benefits and provider of the plan

  • Long-Term Disability (Employee Paid Plans)

  • Disability Leave a. An employee who has suffered possible injury in the performance of assigned duties shall immediately undergo such medical examination as the appointing authority deems necessary. He/she shall not be considered absent from duty during the time required for such examination.

  • Pregnancy Disability Leave A. Leave for pregnancy or childbirth related disability is in addition to any leave granted under FMLA or WFLA.

  • Disability Leave with Pay (A) An employee who sustains a job-related disability and is eligible for disability leave with pay under the provisions of Rule 60L-34, Florida Administrative Code, shall be carried in full-pay status for up to 40 work hours immediately following the onset of the injury without being required to use accrued leave.

  • Long Term Disability Insurance Plan The Employer shall provide a mutually acceptable long-term disability insurance plan, a copy of which shall appear in Appendix “A” – Long-Term Disability Insurance Plan. The plan shall provide post-probationary regular employees with salary continuation as per Appendix “A” until age sixty-five (65) in the event of a disability. The cost of the plan shall be borne by the Employer.
