Common use of Disciplinary Appearance Clause in Contracts

Disciplinary Appearance. When an employee is required to appear before the Board or administration concerning any matter which could adversely affect that employee's position, employment or salary, the employee shall be given reasonable prior written notice of the reasons for such meeting and shall be entitled to have a personal representative at said meeting. If, during the course of discussing disciplinary action with an administrator, an employee requests Union representation, the administrator shall discontinue the discussion.
