Discovery and Notice. 5.1 For a claim to be valid: (i) the defect must be discovered during the warranty period; and (ii) Boeing Warranty must receive written notice of the discovery no later than 90 days after expiration of the warranty period. The notice must include sufficient information to substantiate the claim. 5.2 Receipt of Customer's or its Authorized Agent's notice of the discovery of a defect secures Customer's rights to remedies under this Exhibit C, even though a Correction is performed after the expiration of the warranty period.
