Common use of Discrimination Clause Clause in Contracts

Discrimination Clause. Contractor hereby agrees to abide by the requirements of the following as applicable: Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended by the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972; the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974; Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; Federal Executive Order 11246 as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975; the Fair Housing Act of 1968; and all applicable requirements imposed by or pursuant to the regulations of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services. Contractor agrees not to discriminate in the rendering of services to and/or employment of individuals because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, political affiliation, veteran status, or any other non-merit factor. Any act of discrimination committed by Contractor, or failure to comply with these statutory obligations when applicable, shall be grounds for termination of this contract.
