Common use of Discrimination Prohibited Clause in Contracts

Discrimination Prohibited. No recipient or proposed recipient of any funds, services or other assistance under the provisions of this contract or any program related to this contract, shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity funded in whole or in part with the funds made available through this contract on the grounds of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, disability, sex or age. (Reference Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub. L. 88-352)). For purposes of this section, "program or activity" is defined as any function conducted by an identifiable administrative unit of the Developer receiving funds pursuant to this contract.
