Discussion of Evaluation. Any formal, written evaluation shall be discussed in a meeting between the evaluator and the bargaining unit member. No evaluation shall be placed in a bargaining unit member’s personnel file until there has been a conference between the bargaining unit member and the evaluator. If the overall rating in the evaluation is less than competent, the bargaining unit member may request CSEA Representation. If the bargaining unit member is unable to secure CSEA representation s/he has the right to reschedule the evaluation conference not to exceed and additional five (5) working days. To the extent that a subsequent evaluation is necessary, the bargaining unit member shall be informed of the approximate date of the next evaluation during the evaluation meeting. 8.5.1 Upon completion of the evaluation meeting, the evaluator shall provide the bargaining unit member with a signed copy of the evaluation form.
