Dismissals and appointments. Without prejudice to any decisions of the Board needed in this regard under applicable law, the Executive Chairman shall be entitled to dismiss and appoint any members of the Senior Management. Save as set out below, any dismissal or appointment of members of the Senior Management decided by the Board shall be necessarily proposed by the Executive Chairman. Notwithstanding this, the Board shall be entitled to veto any dismissal or appointment proposed by the Executive Chairman, without prejudice to the Executive Chairman’s right to terminate his Executive Services Agreement for Good Reason (as defined in his Executive Services Agreement) in the event that:

  • Visiting Appointments A "visiting" appointment is one made to a person having appropriate professional qualifications but not expected to be available for more than a limited period, or to a person in a position which the University does not expect to be available for more than a limited period. A visiting appointment may be offered in single or multi-year appointments not to exceed a total of four (4) consecutive years.

  • Adjunct Appointments The use of adjuncts at a university shall, upon the request of the UFF Chapter representatives, be a subject of consultation under the provisions of Article 2.1, Consultation.
