Common use of Dispensing Medication Clause in Contracts

Dispensing Medication. Employees are not required to administer medication to students unless they voluntarily agree to do so by signing a School Medication Authorization Form. All medication shall be administered according to the Board of Education policy. The Board shall indemnify and hold harmless from any liability, Employees who administer medication to students. This provision shall not apply to any bargaining unit positions for which medical related duties are a routine part of their job description.
