The Board shall maintain a District Health and Safety Committee in accordance with the requirements of the Workers' Compensation Act and Regulations, which shall include representatives of the PRDTU. 2. The operation, function and responsibilities of the District Health and Safety Committee shall be consistent with the provisions of the Workers' Compensation Act and Regulations and the School Act and Regulations. 3. The District Health and Safety Committee shall assist in creating a safe and healthful place of work and learning. 4. The Board shall consider recommendations from the District Health and Safety Committee on health and safety matters.
