District Managers. Manage and coordinate the distributors in the same district, responsible for the training of sales skill;
District Managers. The Employer has agreed that the work performed by the following full-time, currently in position of District Manager: May be contracted out by the Employer should the employee vacate the position of District Manager through normal attrition. For clarification normal attrition does not include layoff.
District Managers. Licensee shall provide that number of district managers reasonably necessary in Licensee's judgment to advise Licensor's employees with respect to the operation of Licensee's Shoe Departments. Anything in this Amendment to the contrary notwithstanding, Licensee shall continue to be responsible, as provided in the Agreement as in effect prior to this Amendment, for its employees who were based in the Shoe Departments prior to the assumption of the Shoe Departments by Licensor, including, without limitation, responsibility for payments of wages, termination payments and severance, applicable Federal, state and local withholdings, worker's compensation insurance and other obligations incurred in the hiring, transfer and/or termination of such with all of the foregoing employees relating to the employment or termination of employment of such employees by Licensee.

This will confirm the understanding of the parties with respect to the present arrangement in place for Full-Time Home Delivery District Managers in the Reader Sales and Service department who were on staff prior to June 19, 1994 regarding the right to take the Employer’s car home at the end of their shift. The present terms and conditions as follows will continue to apply: • The vehicle is to be used for business purposes • Business purposes could occur on the employee’s day off • Only the assigned employee is to drive the Employer vehicle • The vehicle must stay within the Windsor Star home delivery boundaries.
