Students must also provide an Email Address, though it does not need to be_a valid email and will not be authenticated during registration. Students may also provide a secret question and answer for account authentication purposes. Students may also optionally provide the school's Student ID for reporting_purposes.

They will enter their first name, last name, email address and they will create a password. However, school districts do have the option to request that Knowledge Matters turns on a PII setting for their license. The PII setting restricts students to entering their first name and first letter only of their last name. It also generates a log in email address for the student so that the student doesn’t have to enter their own email address.

Additionally, Xxxx uses the following providers for operational purposes: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Google Analytics, Zendesk, Intercom, Stripe, Amplitude, Airtable, Datadog, Sentry, Typeform, xxxxxxxx.xx, Hubspot, Microsoft Azure. To our knowledge, all of these providers are GDPR-compliant. Xxxx never sells data to third parties.
