Doctor's Certificate of Inability to Work. ‌ (a) The Employer may require an employee who is unable to work because of illness or injury to provide a statement from:from a qualified medical practitioner. The Employer may also require an employee who is returning to work from illness or injury to provide a statement from a qualified medical practitioner certifying the employee is fit to return to work. (b) The cost of all medical certificates required by the Employer, or the Employer's carrier, shall be borne by the Employer.
