Moving of Household Effects and Chattels. On relocation, the Employer shall arrange and pay for the following:
(a) Moving of household effects and chattels up to eight thousand one hundred sixty-five (8,165) kilograms including item(s) which the contracted mover will accept as part of a load which includes household appliances and furniture, hobbies, boats, outboard motors, and pianos.
(b) Comprehensive insurance to adequately protect the employee's household effects and chattels during the move up to a maximum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000).
(c) Where necessary, insured storage, up to two (2) months, upon production of receipts.
(d) The packing and unpacking of the employee's household effects and chattels.
(e) When an employee is being relocated and opts to move their own household effects and chattels, the employee shall receive one (1) of the following allowances:
(1) Two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) for a move not exceeding a distance of two hundred forty (240) kilometres;
(2) Five hundred dollars ($500) for a move which exceeds a distance of two hundred forty (240) kilometres;
(3) One hundred dollars ($100) where the employee is entitled to receive the amount pursuant to Section 2.8(d).
(f) Where the employee exercises an option pursuant to Section 2.4(e) above, the provisions of Sections 2.4(a) and (d) above shall not apply.
Moving of Household Effects and Chattels. On relocation, the Employer shall arrange and pay for the following:
(a) moving of household effects and chattel up to 8,165 kg. including any item(s) which the contracted mover will accept as part of a load which includes household appliances and furniture, hobbies, boats, outboard motors and pianos;
(b) comprehensive insurance to adequately protect the employee's household effects and chattels during the move up to a maximum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000);
(c) where necessary, insured storage up to two (2) months, upon production of receipts;
(d) the packing and unpacking of the employee's household effects and chattels;
(e) when an employee is being relocated and opts to move his/her own household effects and chattels, the employee shall receive one of the following allowances:
(1) three hundred dollars ($300) for a move not exceeding a distance of two hundred forty (240) kilometres;
(2) six hundred dollars ($600) for a move which exceeds a distance of two hundred forty (240) kilometres;
(3) one hundred and twenty-five dollars ($125) where the employee is entitled to receive the amount pursuant to Section 2.7(d).
(f) Where the employee exercises an option pursuant to (e) above then the provisions of (a) and (d) above shall not apply.

(c) Where necessary, insured storage up to two (2) months, upon production of receipts.
Moving of Household Effects and Chattels. On relocation, the Commission shall arrange and pay for the following:
(a) Moving of household effects and chattels up to 8,165 kg including any item(s) which the contracted mover will accept as part of a load which includes hobbies, boats, outboard motors, washer, deep-freeze and refrigerators.
(b) Comprehensive insurance to adequately protect the employee's household effects and chattels during the move up to a maximum of $25,000.
(c) Where necessary, insured storage, up to two months, upon production of receipts.
(d) The packing and unpacking of the employee's household effects and chattels.
(e) When an employee is being relocated and opts to move their own household effects and chattels the employee shall receive one of the following allowances:
(1) $400 for a move not exceeding a distance of 240 kilometres;
(2) $700 for a move which exceeds a distance of 240 kilometres;
(3) $175 where the employee is entitled to receive the amount pursuant to 8(d).
(f) Where the employee exercises an option pursuant to (e) above then the provisions of (a) and (d) above shall not apply.
Moving of Household Effects and Chattels. On transfer, the Employer shall arrange and pay for the following:
a) Moving of household effects and chattels up to 7,000 kg, including any item(s) which the contracted mover will accept as a part of a load which includes hobbies, boats, outboard motors, washer, deepfreeze, and refrigerators.
b) Comprehensive insurance to adequately protect the employee's household effects and chattels during the move up to a maximum of $25,000.
c) Where necessary, insured storage, up to two months, upon production of receipts.
d) The packing and unpacking of the employee's household effects and chattels.
Moving of Household Effects and Chattels. On relocation, the Employer shall pay for the following:
(a) Moving of household effects and chattels up to 8,165 kg. including any item(s) which the contracted mover will accept as part of a load which includes household appliances and furniture, hobbies, boats, outboard motors and pianos.

(f) Where the employee exercises an option pursuant to (e) above then the provision of (a) and (d) above shall not apply.
(g) It shall be the responsibility of the employee to arrange for the moving of household effects and chattels under this section.
(h) An employee shall advise the Employer in advance of her decision to exercise an option under (a), (b), (c) and (d) above and of the estimated cost of each option. The employee shall obtain three (3) written cost estimates of the expenses under this section and shall obtain approval from the Employer before choosing a mover. The moving company shall invoice the Employer directly.

1) for a move not exceeding a distance of 240 kilometres; • five hundred thirty-one dollars and forty cents ($531.40) effective date July 1, 2014; • five hundred thirty-six dollars and seventy-one cents ($536.71) effective July 1, 2015; • five hundred forty-four dollars and seventy-six cents ($544.76) effective July 1, 2016; • five hundred fifty-two dollars and ninety-three cents ($552.93) effective July 1, 2017; • five hundred sixty-one dollars and twenty-two cents ($561.22) effective July 1, 2018
2) for a move which exceeds a distance of 240 kilometres; • eight hundred fifty dollars and thirty cents ($850.30) effective July 1, 2014; • eight hundred fifty-eight and eighty cents ($858.80) effective July 1, 2015; • eight hundred seventy-one and sixty-eight cents ($871.68) effective July 1, 2016; • eight hundred eight-four and seventy-six cents ($884.76) effective July 1, 2017; • eight hundred ninety-eight dollars and three cents ($898.03) effective July 1, 2018
3) where the employee is entitled to receive the amount pursuant to 2.07(d). • two hundred sixty-five dollars and seventy cents ($265.70) effective July 1, 2014; • two hundred sixty-eight and thirty-six cents ($268.36) effective July 1, 2015; • two hundred seventy-two dollars and thirty nine cents ($272.39) effective July 1, 2016; • two hundred seventy-six dollars and forty eight cents($276.48) effective July 1, 2017; • two hundred eighty dollars and sixty three cents ($280.63) effective July 1, 2018.
(f) Where the employee exercises an option pursuant to (e) above then the provisions of (a) and (d) above shall not apply.
