Living Expenses Upon Relocation at New Location. After the first seven (7) days has expired at the new location and the employee can establish to the satisfaction of the Employer that there is no suitable housing available, then: (a) the Employer shall pay an employee not accompanied by dependants at the new location, a living allowance of twelve dollars ($12) per day up to a maximum of thirty (30) days; or (b) the Employer shall pay an employee accompanied by dependants at the new location, a living allowance of fifteen dollars and fifty cents ($15.50) per day up to a maximum of sixty (60) days. (c) Where an employee is receiving the payment in (a) above and is later joined by their dependants at the new location and the employee is still eligible for payment under this section, the payment shall be as in (b) above. However, the maximum period of payment under (a) and (b) shall not exceed sixty (60) days.
