Travel Expenses on Relocation. (a) Initial Trip to Seek New Accommodation The Employer shall grant, with no loss of base pay, prior to relocation, at a time mutually agreeable to the Employer and the employee, up to five (5) days plus reasonable travel time, to an employee being relocated and shall reimburse the employee for travel expenses for the employee and their spouse in accordance with the current regulations. Any time beyond specified time may be charged against the employee's vacation/annual leave credits, however, expenses will not be payable. This leave must be for the specific purpose of locating accommodation, with the intent, in as many instances as possible, that furniture and household effects may be delivered directly to the new residence.
