DOCUMENT COORDINATION AND REVIEWS. The Architect/Engineer shall ensure interdisciplinary document coordination of the Construction Documents for the project. The Architect/Engineer shall prepare initial and revised Basis of Design Reports, and be responsive to independent Seismic Peer, Mechanical Peer and plan review comments. Where the Trustees retain a Contractor to provide pre-construction services the Architect/Engineer shall collaborate and be responsive to Contractor comments in the development of the project.

DOCUMENT COORDINATION AND REVIEWS. The Architect shall be responsible to ensure interdisciplinary document coordination of the Construction Documents for the project. The Architect/Engineer shall prepare initial and revised Basis of Design Reports, and be responsive to independent Seismic Peer, Mechanical Peer and plan review comments. Where the Trustees retain a Contractor to provide pre-construction services the Architect/Engineer shall collaborate and be responsive to Contractor comment in the development of the project. DESIGN-BUILD Secure written acceptance from the Project Administrator to incorporate design- build elements into the project. This proposal for acceptance must identify individual division and subdivisions of work. Where design-build elements are specified, provide written and graphic performance criteria sufficient to provide biddable Construction Documents. A complete summary listing of design-build elements shall be provided in the project specifications and plan index sheets of Construction Documents. THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER’S DESIGN-TO BUDGET (100%) The Budgeted Direct Construction Cost is: [Insert value] (90%) The Design-to Budget is: [Insert value] Provide a base design targeted to a design-to budget of ninety percent (90%) of the Budgeted Direct Construction Cost. Given the small project focus of this agreement, the time is of the essence nature of this work, and the delay, rework and associated expense in addressing an overbid situation, an underbid result is desired. It is a Trustee preference to seek the flexibility to be able to electively grow a project rather than to be compelled under time and budget pressures to extract costs. Design accordingly.

  • Cooperation and Coordination The Parties acknowledge and agree that it is their mutual objective and intent to minimize, to the extent feasible and legal, taxes payable with respect to their collaborative efforts under this Agreement and that they shall use all commercially reasonable efforts to cooperate and coordinate with each other to achieve such objective.

If one or more of the Parties is late in submission of any project deliverable, the Coordinator may nevertheless submit the other parties’ project deliverables and all other documents required by the Grant Agreement to the Funding Authority in time. 6.4.3 If the Coordinator fails in its coordination tasks, the General Assembly may propose to the Funding Authority to change the Coordinator. 6.4.4 The Coordinator shall not be entitled to act or to make legally binding declarations on behalf of any other Party or of the consortium, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the Grant Agreement or this Consortium Agreement. 6.4.5 The Coordinator shall not enlarge its role beyond the tasks specified in this Consortium Agreement and in the Grant Agreement.
