Common use of Donation of Days Clause in Contracts

Donation of Days. An employee may elect to participate in the Catastrophic Leave Bank by donating at least one (1) day (1 day = current daily hours assigned) of his/her accumulated Xxxx Leave to the Catastrophic Leave Bank. No employee shall contribute more than five (5) days to the Catastrophic Leave Bank in any one (1) open enrollment period. The employee shall make this donation by filing an appropriate form with the Catastrophic Leave Bank Committee during the open enrollment period. This donation shall be irrevocable. A donation to the Catastrophic Leave Bank must be made from the employee’s accumulated Sick Leave and shall not be designated to a specific employee for his/her exclusive use.
