Common use of DRIVERS' LICENSES Clause in Contracts

DRIVERS' LICENSES. 39.1 All regularly assigned members of Engine, Truck Companies, Rescue and Service Squads, and EMS Field Units shall be required to possess, at a minimum, a "Restricted Class B Firefighter" driver's license. Members assigned to the Bureau of Equipment shall be required to possess a Class A license. All other qualified drivers, including officers, aides, inspectors, investigators and firefighters who may be assigned, detailed or required to drive Department vehicles shall be required to possess, at a minimum, a valid Class C license. 39.2 An employee who does not possess the appropriate driver's license may be assigned to non- driving duties at the discretion of the Department.
