An Employee required by the Employer to maintain a vehicle for the performance of his/her duties shall receive a monthly basic travelling allowance in accordance with the rates currently paid by Government. A mileage allowance shall also be paid in accordance with the Government’s approved rate and ceiling.
An Employee required by the Employer to use their personal vehicle in the conduct of Employer business shall be reimbursed by way of personal expense account at the rate of 46¢ per kilometer or the rate established by the Company, whichever is higher.

  • Employee Requests To reduce the impact of a layoff, an employee may request a voluntary layoff, leave without pay, a reduction in compensation, reduction in hours of work, or movement to a funded, vacant exempt position for which the employee is qualified.
