Drug and Alcohol Abuse Rehabilitation Program. Employees may voluntarily participate in a drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation program on their own or through the County-sponsored Employee Assistance Program; however, participation shall not prohibit drug and/or alcohol testing under this policy. An employee, who (while not under reasonable suspicion) voluntarily participates in such a program will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing for a period of twenty-four months of active employment, unless the employee is being discharged for other actions and omissions that violate Department Rules and Regulations. Such an employee will not be disciplined for a violation of this policy, but may be disciplined for other actions and/or omissions that violate Department Rules or Regulations APPENDIX D

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING Employees may be tested for drugs and/or alcohol pursuant to the provisions of the Employer's Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement as if more fully set forth herein.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE WORKPLACE 20.1 All employees must report to work in a condition fit to perform their assigned duties unimpaired by alcohol or drugs.

  • Rehabilitation Program The company agrees to the implementation of an agreed worker’s compensation rehabilitation policy. The operation of this policy shall be reviewed on a regular basis. The parties commit to ensuring that the rehabilitation of injured workers is an accepted practice, and that suitable duties are provided when available. No employee will be terminated whilst on workers compensation during the first 12 months without prior consultation with the union. The parties agree that the person responsible for the management of rehabilitation cases must be adequately trained to do the job. If such a person is not available within the company, then the services of an agreed building industry rehabilitation coordination service will be used. The parties to this Agreement shall ensure that any employee who sustains a work related injury, illness or disease, will be afforded every assistance in utilising a rehabilitation program aimed at returning that employee to meaningful employment within the industry.

  • DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY The parties agree that employees represented by this Agreement shall be free from the influence of drugs and/or alcohol while at work. The Agency's Drug/Alcohol Policy will be adhered to by such employees.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing Permitted Testing is permitted where the Employer has reasonable suspicion to believe.

  • DRUG/ALCOHOL TESTING 11.1 The parties agree that the maintenance of a drug/alcohol free work place is a goal of both the College and the Union. Employees are prohibited from possession, consumption and/or being under the influence of a controlled substance/alcohol while on the College’s premises or during time paid by the employer. Violations of this prohibition may result in a disciplinary action up to and including termination.

  • Cardiac Rehabilitation This plan covers services provided in a cardiac rehabilitation program up to the benefit limit shown in the Summary of Medical Benefits.

  • EDUCATION/PREVENTION To promote health and safety, information about this policy, and information designed to minimise the harmful use of alcohol and other drugs will be displayed on-site and distributed as appropriate.
