Drug or Alcohol Dependency. Before disciplinary action is taken against an employee for poor work performance related to the employee's drug or alcohol dependency, the Employer shall encourage the employee to obtain a program directed to the objective of their rehabilitation. If the problem persists, it may result in the employee's dismissal.
