Common use of DURATION AND RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

DURATION AND RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT. This Agreement shall become effective on the 1st day of May, 2001 and shall remain in full force and effect until the 30th day of April 2004 and shall continue in force from year to year thereafter until either party shall furnish the other with notice of termination of or proposed revision of this Agreement within a period of 90 days before April 30th, 2004 or in a like period in any year thereafter. On receipt of such notice the parties to this Collective Agreement shall convene a meeting within fifteen (15) days and bargain in good faith to endeavour to make a new Collective Agreement.
