DURATION AND RENEWAL OF AGREEMENT. This Agreement shall be in full force and effect for a term commencing October 1, 1998 and terminating at midnight September 30, 2001 and shall automatically continue in operation from year to year thereafter, unless either party hereto shall give to the other party a notice in writing of a desire to modify this Agreement. Such notice shall be served by registered mail upon the other party, at least ninety (90) days prior to the expiration date of the Agreement. If notice to negotiate has been given by either party, this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect during any period of negotiations, even though such negotiations may extend beyond the expiry date, or until discontinued by notice in writing from either party.
