DUTIES OF THE ACTOR. ‌ The Actor agrees to be prompt and punctual at rehearsals, costume calls/fittings, and to attend all rehearsals as required; to appear at the theatre no later than the half-hour call; to pay strict regard to stage make-up and stage dress; to perform their services as reasonably directed, and to conform to the language of the script to the best of their ability; under the instruction of the Stage Manager, to maintain the original intent of the Director throughout the run of the show (see Xxxxxx 63:13(J)); to learn their lines within the time period set by the Director, but, in any case, at the very latest by the first dress rehearsal; to properly care for their costumes and props; to use, when required by the Theatre, safe electronic equipment, and to respect the physical property of the production and Theatre. If the Theatre feels that serious infractions of this Article have occurred, an Equity member may be subject to disciplinary proceedings, in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of Equity, or termination of contract by the Theatre. DUTIES OF THE ACTOR. (A) The Actor agrees to be prompt at all calls including but not limited to rehearsals, costume and photo calls; to appear at the theatre no later than 1/2 hour prior to the performance; to pay strict regard to make-up and dress; to perform the Actor’s services as reasonably directed, and sustained by the Stage Manager, and to conform to the language of the script to the best of the Actor’s ability; to properly care for the Actor’s costumes and props; to respect the physical property of the production and the Theatre and to abide by all reasonable rules and regulations of the Theatre which are not in conflict with the provisions of this Agreement. Repeated lateness or other infractions of the Equity rules shall subject the Actor to disciplinary proceedings, in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of Equity.
