Stage Manager. In the event the Employer determines that operational needs require assigning a flexible schedule to additional positions or classifications, the Employer will provide notice to PSE and, if requested, meet and confer regarding the assignment. Employees may request a written explanation of any decision denying a request to work a flex schedule.
Stage Manager. The term "Stage Manager" shall refer to and include all persons who are contracted to perform the customary duties of "Stage Manager" and "Assistant Stage Manager."
Stage Manager. Shall work under the direction of the Producer, Director, Engineer-in- Charge, and/or Crew Chief to implement his/her instructions for providing management of on-air talent. The Stage Manager shall have the required skills to assist talent and to operate/perform other related equipment/services necessary to the fulfillment of his/her job skills and responsibilities.
Stage Manager. The Lessee shall furnish a qualified Stage Manager to call the show. If requested in writing by the Lessee, the MSDWC shall provide the Lessee with a Stage Manager at the hourly fee set forth on the Fee Schedule (see Attachment #1) for the number of hours stipulated in the Agreement.

It is understood that safety issues and responsibility for implementing and administering the Safety Program during prep, load-in, wrap and strike is typically assigned to persons not covered by the FLTTA. The first-assigned3 Stage Manager reports to the executive-in-charge (“EIC”)/line producer4 on safety issues and is responsible for implementing and administering the Safety Program with respect to the cast and crew on set, during rehearsals and production. The first-assigned Stage Manager is responsible for coordinating on set safety and for conveying safety requirements to all talent/cast and crew members and supporting department heads and supervisors in meeting their Safety Program responsibilities. The first-assigned Stage Manager may also delegate specific safety responsibilities as appropriate. In carrying out his or her safety responsibilities, the first-assigned Stage Manager shall obtain guidance on safety matters from department heads, supervisors, or other individuals with relevant safety expertise, as applicable, and may rely upon their advice. The first-assigned Stage Manager shall communicate with the Director, EIC/line producer and the Production Safety Department (if any) regarding any health and safety concerns that are identified prior to and during any production day. In addition, the first-assigned Stage Manager shall ensure that proper control measures have been implemented and communicated to all involved, including by conducting safety meetings and, if requested by the Employer, including appropriate information on call sheets. The first-assigned Stage Manager has the authority to halt any production activity that poses a risk to cast or crew members' health or safety and shall not be discharged or otherwise disciplined for exercising this authority in good faith. Stage Managers employed in addition to the first-assigned Stage Manager report to the first- assigned Stage Manager on safety issues and shall assist the first-assigned Stage Manager in communicating with the Director, EIC/line producer and the Production Safety Department (if any) regarding any health and safety concerns and ensuring that proper control measures have been implemented and communicated to all involved.
Stage Manager. An individual engaged whose duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: prepare the STAGE MANAGER's score; attend staging and lighting sessions and document all technical cue placements; run performances; call technical cues; keep timings and write performance reports; coordinate safety concerns during rehearsals and performances; pre-plan for WDCH staged engagement of Music to Accompany a Departure; act as Stage Manager for all Music to Accompany a Departure services that involve staging.; document stage directions on Music to Accompany a Departure for future use; work directly with Stage Director, Artistic Director, and Director of Production concerning all staged production needs; give input on daily schedules.
Stage Manager a) EMPLOYER will engage Stage Managers on a minimum basis as set forth above and shall compensate Stage Manager(s) no less than the weekly amount set forth above for up to forty (40) hours of work a week. EMPLOYER will compensate Stage Manager(s) the Overtime rate for any additional hours up to eighty (80) hours a week after which EMPLOYER will compensate Stage Manager(s) the Penalty Rate for each additional hour.
b) Performance rest span for Stage Managers shall be no less than eleven (11) hours and shall commence after completion of the final duty of the day and conclude when the next Stage Manager activity of the day is required (e.g., thirty (30) minutes before class on stage, thirty (30) minutes before rehearsal, etc.). EMPLOYER shall not assign Stage Managers to perform any duties during this rest span. Should EMPLOYER make such assignment, EMPLOYER shall compensate Stage at the Penalty rate, in half-hour increments, for any time Stage Managers are required to work during the rest-span. Rest-span for Stage Managers may be reduced to no less than nine (9) hours for Technical Weeks provided EMPLOYER does not go under eleven (11) hours for more than three (3) consecutive days at a time.
c) Stage Managers may not be required to perform their duties for more than five (5) hours without a meal break of one (1) hour. Violations will be paid at the overtime hourly rate until a meal break is provided.
d) Stage Manager shall not be required to function in areas not defined as the duties of the Stage Manager unless EMPLOYER negotiations any such functions with AGMA beforehand as a rider.
e) There shall be at least one (1) Stage Manager on an AGMA contract employed for each production.
f) The Stage Manager, in conjunction with the Company representatives, shall be responsible for matters of safety affecting performers and technical personnel while in the theater and shall have the right to stop, in conjunction with Company Representative, any rehearsal if, in their judgment, a safety hazard exists.
g) It shall not be a condition of employment that a Stage Manager own or operate a motor vehicle.
