Duties of Weighers and Wrappers Employed in Meat Department The Weigher and Wrapper in self-service markets may be required to take meat, poultry or fish (cut or dressed by a journeyman), weigh it, insert price tags, place in trays or locker boards and enclose all in a cellophane wrapper which will be sealed by him/her. He/she may be required to place this meat or fish in the self-service case and rotate salne in the case. He/she may be required to use a slicing machine for luncheon meats or knife to cut liverwurst, cheese or any other luncheon meat which cannot be run through a slicer. He/she may, in addition, be required to do all other work in the meat department not normally performed by a Journeyman Meat Cutter or apprentice, includ­ ing cleaning of cases, work tables or any other housecleaning chores required in the meat depart­ ment.
