Common use of Eating Period Clause in Contracts

Eating Period. (a) Eating period, as specified in this Article, is outside the limitation of the hours to be worked as imposed in the sections and is not paid time. (b) Employees who are not permitted to leave the work location and who are required by the Employer to be available for work during the eating period will receive a one half (1/2) hour paid lunch period within the specified hours of work.
