Education Advancement Leave. Any teacher may receive up to one (1) year's leave without pay for purposes of continuing education. The teacher must submit an application, a program of study, approved acceptance documents from the university of the teacher's choice, and a written statement from the teacher demonstrating the positive contributions that may be provided the school system upon completion of the leave.
