Common use of Educational Bonus Clause in Contracts

Educational Bonus. 9 (1) The County will make the following annual payments for the completion 10 of course work described in pars. (4)(a) and (4)(b) herein for all 11 employees in the bargaining unit: 12 $125.00 per year for 16 credits 13 $175.00 per year for 28 credits 14 $225.00 per year for 40 credits 15 $275.00 per year for 52 credits 16 $325.00 per year for 64 credits 17 $500.00 for Associate Degree or 75 credits 18 $750.00 for Bachelors Degree 19 These payments shall be made on an annual basis as soon as 20 possible after December 31 of the current year. No payments will be 21 made to employees for any year in which they do not remain in the 22 employ of the Sheriff’s Department for the full calendar year.
