Educational/Professional Purpose. Attendance at educational meetings or visiting other schools is permitted at full pay if the office of the Executive Director of Human Resources Management approves such absence. If any regular full time employee or SUCCESS employee wishes to be absent from duty for a brief period to attend a professional meeting, or to visit schools, a written request for approval of such absence on a form as provided by the Employer should be signed by the principal or supervisor and filed in the office of the Executive Director of Human Resources Management at least ten days prior to the first day of anticipated absence.
