Effect of Leave Without Pay. During any pay period that an employee is charged with leave without pay, that employee shall accrue personal leave and other benefits on a prorated basis the same as a part time employee. The leave anniversary date and the merit anniversary date of an employee shall be set forward one pay period for each leave of absence without pay covering a full pay period and for each accumulation of ten days of leave without pay in any calendar year.
