Common use of Election of Stewards Clause in Contracts

Election of Stewards. In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or elect a maximum of two (2) stewards, whose duties shall be to assist any employee which the xxxxxxx represents, in preparing and in presenting his grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.
