Electric Meters Clause Samples

The 'Electric Meters' clause defines the responsibilities and procedures related to the installation, maintenance, and use of electric meters on a property. Typically, this clause specifies whether the landlord or tenant is responsible for providing and maintaining the meters, and may outline requirements for separate metering of different units or spaces. For example, it might require that each tenant’s electricity usage is measured individually to ensure accurate billing. The core function of this clause is to ensure clear allocation of responsibility for electricity measurement and billing, thereby preventing disputes over utility charges.
