Common use of Electrical and Communication Industry Disputes Board Clause in Contracts

Electrical and Communication Industry Disputes Board. The Electrical and Communications Industry Dispute Board shall conciliate and determine matters arising out of this Agreement including but not limited to: a) Breach of Agreement b) Interpretations of the Agreement c) Other matters agreed by the parties By agreement matters may be referred to the Board by the parties or their representative organisations in relation to this Agreement. The Disputes Board shall hear and determine all matters referred to it having full regard to the dispute procedure in this Agreement and to its charter as agreed between the Union and the National Electrical and Communications Association. In the exercise of its functions, the Board shall do all such things as are necessary to ensure: (a) that disputes, are set down for hearing with as much expedition as is reasonably possible; and (b) that the hearing of disputes is concluded within as short a period as is reasonably possible.
